Garden Criteria
t is suggested that plantings be indigenous to the geographical area and in keeping with the surrounding grounds. Each season should have something to exemplify the ever-changing beauty of the seasons and the message of life and hope.
is an opportunity for all who visit to witness how precious, beautiful, and delicate life is. As one fourth grade student said, “I know what you do! You plant gardens because you love us and you want us to know that we can bloom… just like the flowers!”

Growing Beyond
the Garden Walls

A garden, at first glance, attracts us because of it's beauty and serenity. Yet, slowly as the landscape changes with the seasons, with the addition of new plants and the pruning of others, you begin to envision all the possibilities. This is also true for the Children's Memorial and Gardens organization throughout the years.

with First Responders, Grief Resource providers, Non-Profit organizations, schools, and families in crisis. |

the community, employer and professionals as to the needs of a family experiencing the death of a child, not through our perception of what “they” need but through the words of those walking this unwanted journey. |

of the enormity of this special type of grief: the impact it has on family, friends, and community. The need to respond with compassion and love for as long as they need. To seek, together, solutions for healing. |
